Generous lunch specials but avoid the seafood! Tried a dish with shrimp, scallops and chicken. The scallops had turned and left a foul odor on the rest of the dish. I brought it to the waitress' attention and she acknowledged that other customers said they same thing, but explained it was the way they cooked it. Really? I dared her to try them which she politely declined. She went back to the cook and came back with the explanation that they were just unfrozen yesterday and couldn't be bad!
Whenever I am able to come into Marina, I almost always try to come to Lee's Garden....cuz the owner and staff feel like family to me....I always get the Noodles with black bean sauce and seafood it's one of my favorite Korean dishes and they always remember their regulars and treat everyone like family.....
What a GREAT find - unexpectedly - portions are large, food is very tasty, quality excellent - we got takeout and were absolutely delighted with it.... sweet and sour chicken (excellent), vegetable chow mein or chop suey (can't remember which one) - also excellent - and fried rice - absolutely great, if we're in town, we'll head right back there.
We love the food! Under new management that serves good food. We eat there often.
Excellent service fresh food and good ambient
Wow great resturant and fresh food and large portions
All right Chinese food. Can be greasy and nothing really stands out. Not the highest quality of ingredients either
This is a good place for lunch if your near by. Nothing too special but for the price is a great deal. Lunch special is about $10 and comes with soup, egg roll, rice, chowmein, and a protein. Everything I've tried has been good.
3 words: Sizzling rice soup. This is the only Asian cuisine restaurant I have ever found that offers it. I lived in Marina from 1987-1994 and I always remember getting this entree back then, and a few years ago on a trip back to the area. Definitely try it!
Wonderful and enjoyable meal... The combination mixed chop suey is one of my favorites here at Lee's garden restaurant. Street a very good service provided by employees. The next time I have dinner here I will try their chicken salad... I've been told that it is excellent.
Great food
Brilliant food
Always a joy to eat here! So yummy!🤗💜
Wonderful Chinese food with a quiet, friendly environment. Will be back!
It was pretty good accept for the shrimp fried rice was undercooked. It has good service though.
Take out..food was ok...dont order the orange chicken...
The food is great and the waiter is super friendly! He kept checking that everything was ok with our food and if we needed anything else. Service 10/10
The Kung Pao Pork was beyond excellent... ...I had to get a to go box!
Great food and nice people
It was fast and good and the service was very nice.
Good food, good service, easy location
What an unexpected great find. We got take out for our cycling group , huge portions, excellent flavors, top quality.... Disappointing that rice is not included and had to be ordered separately. in Florida you always get rice included with an entree. But that was the only Complaint Excellent food... Vegetable chow mein, sweet and sour chicken lots of sauce .. Will be back
Excellent service and delicious food at really good prices!
Never never never judge a book by its cover. Lee’s Garden Restaurant is the epitome of this coveted advice. On the outside a somewhat run down building that needs a bit of love. On the inside they provide hands down one of the best (American) Chinese meal in the country. I travel the world and I’ve eaten at some of the most renowned restaurants on the face of earth. And nowhere have I had a meal that surprised me the way Lee’s did. It’s simple fare and although my pallet may be different and probably simpler than most, I truly loved the sesame chicken and fried rice I had at Lee’s. Crunchy breading pure white meat(not false claims) actual white meat!!! And perfectly cooked rice. Do yourself a favor and make sure to visit Lee’s. I know I will again.
This place was terrible. The food was bland and relied too heavily on the sauces. The lemon chicken was very dry and flavorless (excluding the lemon sauce). As for the chicken chow mein, it was a little on the oily side but was still decent. As for the waiters and waitresses, they were very awkward and at times borderline rude... When my wife went to the restroom, she swears there was black mold in the corners of the walls. Overall, this was a terrible and i won't eat here again.
Haven't been here in 13 years cause don't like Chinese food. But this black bean dish and green beans are great.
This place is our family go to for any and every occasion. Food is excellent and always quality every single time.
Great service but wish we get a discount for the many times our company workers go there
Planned a family retirement dinner at Lee's Garden on a Saturday. We had the back room reserved for the family and ordered from family style menu on the back of the menu. We were quickly served our tea followed by won ton soup, fried won tons and spring rolls. The main course meals were all good and seasoned just right. Not too much salt. Everything was cooked well and moist. We ended up taking a lot home for later. Staff was quick to bring whatever we needed and checked on use regularly.
Probably my favorite Chinese place soooo good big portion
Very good food and staff was friendly.
Excellent food, wide choice menu, take out is popular.
Back for a second delightful lunch in less than a week. Menu includes some deliciously authentic Korean favorites too. Well worth the drive!
Ordered General Tso's Chicken through Door Dash. My meal was absolutly terrible. It was like chicken crumbs that had been breaded and breaded and breaded to make a bite of chicken. Some of the chicken it was like, is this just fried breading is there even chicken in it, it was so bad. Everything else, the pot stickers and rice, were bland. I even ended up being sick later.I noticed the response from the owner. To be clear my compliant was not about the chicken being soggy, it was about the lack of chicken. It was like deep fried breading with General Tso's sauce.
Their fried prawns were not good.
Good food, attentive service, and very nice interior design.
I always stop by this place when I'm craving chinese food in Marina. The owner is extremely friendly and she always makes sure to remember her regulars. The black bean seafood noodles are great and the chicken chow fun and kung pao chicken are a hit. They have a lunch special that ends at 3pm on the weekdays. Really great spot for quick and yummy chinese food.
Great food and a very friendly staff
I ordered togo on a Friday night, I should have known that it would be so bad because no one was there. I ordered fried rice, and they gave me Chow Mein instead. Which I can forgive, but it didn't even taste good, and basically the whole reason I went was for fried rice. I also ordered my boyfriend their orange chicken, because he loves orange chicken. He said that was the worst orange chicken he'd ever had, he'd rather go to Panda Express than there again. Lastly, I ordered the seaweed salad because it's something that's hard to mess up and I love it. When I got it, it was still frozen and the taste was awful.I will never be returning, and I recommend no one goes there either
I always try to make it here when I come to Marina because they have jjampong soup. Only other place I know that sells it is in Korea. The soup was really good. Nice and spicy for sure. My family ordered other items too that tasted really good. For the price, I think this place is spot on. Don't particularly care that they sell soda in a can for $2, but other than that, I think this place is definitely worth a shot if you're in the area.
I liked my lunch special. Good service! Very nice.
More than average restorant around here.Nice service.reasonable price. Spicy Tofu and sizzling rice soup are my favorite.
The waiter was very slow we ask for something and he gave us a dirty look they were not ready when they opened and the food is very mediocre and the service is horrendously slow.
Best Chinese restaurant in Marina.
The food here is very mediocre and the service is absolutely horrendous they take ages for them to seat you and they make people feel very unwelcomed. If I could give them no stars I would.
Yummy cheap eats!Quick and friendly serviceBig portion sizes
I came to this place and it was good, price, food and service. Will come again.
The food and atmosphere is nice
Good service horrible by design. Ordered curry chicken. Below costco on chicken. When a person orderers chicken they expect at least chicken with curry sauce more whatever even less chicken(hard to tell . Egg flour is beyond minimal to googlycol. Bizaar.. if thats what you like. Wouldnt return...
